If the school can overlook this mistake, watch out!

School life or education is the best way to provide our children with knowledge and abilities to live good productive lives.

The teachers try their best to cover all the subjects by the end of the year.

In the kindergarten and Std 1, all the children start at the same time. All are side by side, basically equal to one another. But as the years go by, some students began to fall back. Here the school begin to grade them into A class, B class. Sometimes they use different means. The reason is to allow the children to continue at different speed. Exams are held to grade all the students.

During all this, a very simple begin to happen. When the children don’t do well in their exams or are very playful or naughty, they became branded as stupid, useless, slow, good for nothing, etc.

These kind of scolding and grading done often by the people in authority, make them believe that they are really stupid, slow, useless or otherwise.

The parents add to the situation when they get the report card. They also scold the children stupid, useless…

The friends also call each other names when they compare their results. When these kind of words are used over and over again, what do you think will happen to the confidence and belief of the child?

Is the child really stupid, slow or useless?

even in the school where many highly educated people work, have overlooked this mistake. don’t underestimate this mistake!

Question: Why do the child fall back?

          Possible answer:

It could be because of playfulness. Maybe the child was sick and absent. The child could also lose interest in education because of unhappiness and anger for wrongful punishment, fear of the teacher or other reasons.

Many children lose interest in education because they are too young to think of the importance of education in their lives.

The important thing is that the child is not fall back because of being stupid, slow or useless.

Give the child any help or extra classes or tuition, and the child will be as clever as most other children. Teach the child the importance of education, but never scold them stupid, useless, slow…

          Example:

In life when we become weak or sick we immediately take medicine and eat good food to become strong and healthy again. When the children are slow or weak in studies, we must also give them extra help and tuition so that they will become fast and clever.

          NB. Pain and sickness is a sign to show us that we need medicine. Bad result is also a sign to show us that the child needs help.

We never give the sick person bad food because we know that he/she will definitely become worse or even die. Why then do we give to our child negative words when they do not do well in school?

Think about this. It’s a serious matter! We must stop this mistake in our lives and the lives of our loved one.

In our office, when someone is finding it difficult to keep up with work, we must help that person. If the sale person does not know how to do the sale, we must help her by giving her training and advice. Everybody can achieve anything they want if they are train to do it.

Do not take negative words and statements lightly!
